Getting the idea
The head coach wanted to use this image specifically he wanted these three players highlighted for the next game. Even told me the context that he wanted in the post and gave me free reign for the rest of it.
Cutting them out
I cut out the players and added a blue ledge with enough space on the top and bottom to add in the text that I needed for later
Adding the text
While adding the text I made sure to keep the shadows involved that I put on the players, overlapping where it was needed. Also layering some of the important text that I felt needed to be highlighted.
The coach wanted to highlight that this is a gameday post so I added the text in the background to reflect his request.
The final touches
Finally I added in some particles and highlighted the players a little bit better, and made sure everything was post ready for their Instagram page.
